League Announces Changes For 2009

IN AN EFFORT TO ACCOMMODATE AS MANY PLAYERS AS POSSIBLE, the USFLL has made the following changes effective for the 2009 Season:

The Reggie White League age qualification has been changed to 7th and 8th Graders who are 14 years old and younger.  No 15 year-olds or High School Students will be allowed to play in this league.

The Sam Mills League age qualification has been changed to 5th and 6th Graders and 7th Graders whose weight does not exceed 90lbs at the time of certification.

The Doug Flutie league age qualification has been changed to 3rd and 4th Graders and 2nd Graders who weigh at least 60 lbs and obtain a league waiver.  Also, exclusive to the Doug Flutie League, a weight limit of 100 lbs will be imposed on all ball carriers.

High School rules will apply to all leagues.
