SM:
Wranglers the Team to Beat

Looking back
over the last three years, one team stands out from the
rest as the team to beat in the Sam Mills League this
season. Now, I can already hear the Knights and
Stars saying, "what about us?" True, it's
anybody's season to win, but, as I said, looking back
over the last three years, one team stands out from the
rest in the Sam Mills League. That team is the
Desert Oasis Wranglers.
The case is
made by the shear dominance this Wranglers squad has had
since their US Bowl III win over the Bandits 34-14.
That team went undefeated for two years winning US Bowl
III and IV. The SM Wranglers fell to the Invaders
14-6 in US Bowl V.
This group
returns some of the most dominant players in the league.
That is why I think the
Wranglers will be hoisting the Sam Mills Trophy at the
end of US Bowl VI.
