It started
with a bang, then it really got loud.
US Bowl V, with its three games, was one
that won't be forgotten any time soon.
It all started with the Doug Flutie game.
The Outlaws and Knights played tough for
most of the game, but the Outlaws were just
too much to contain. Outlaws 42,
Knights 15. The Sam Mills game
featured the undefeated Invaders and a
vastly improved Wranglers team.
The Wranglers had their chances until about
two minutes were left in the game. Invaders 14, Wranglers 6. Finally,
just when you thought it couldn't get any
better, the Outlaws and Knights end regulation
in a 20-20 tie. The Knights shut down
the Outlaws in OT, then score on a 20 yard
pass on their third play to take home the
Reggie White Trophy. This was one to
remember. |
